Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training – English
This course will cover the fundamentals of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hazard assessment, proper equipment selection, and the correct use of each PPE category, in order to comply with the following requirements:
- OSHA: Personal Protective Equipment (Federal: 29 CFR § 1910.132)
- Cal/OSHA: Personal Protective Equipment (State: 8 CCR § 3380)
The course outline is as follows:
- Purpose of PPE and regulatory requirements
- Hazard assessment and proper PPE selection
- PPE maintenance and inspection
- Body protection
- Face and eye protection
- Hand protection
- Foot protection
- Head protection
- Hearing protection
To receive a certificate of completion for this training, a minimum score of 80% on the final assessment is required. You may attempt the final assessment as many times as necessary. After each attempt, you will have the opportunity to review your answers and see the correct answers, allowing you to learn from your mistakes and improve your understanding of the material.
