This course will cover the fundamentals of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), including equipment, procedures, and employee roles and responsibilities to satisfy the following:

• OSHA: Control of Hazardous Energy (Federal: 29 CFR § 1910.147)
• Cal/OSHA: Control of Hazardous Energy (State: 8 CCR § 3314)

• Forms of hazardous energy and equipment requiring LOTO
• Authorized and affected employee roles
• LOTO devices
• Lockout and tagout procedures
• Group LOTO and shift change protocols
• General LOTO requirements

To receive a certificate of completion for this training, a minimum score of 80% on the final assessment is required. You may attempt the final assessment multiple times if needed. After each attempt, you will have the opportunity to review your responses and see the correct answers, allowing you to learn from any mistakes and improve your understanding of the material.
