Hazardous Waste Handler Training – English
This course will address the hazardous waste training requirements of 22 CCR § 66265.16 40 CFR Part 262. The course outline is as follows:
- Introduction
- Definitions
- Other RCRA Terminology and Topics
- Hazardous Waste Storage Areas
- Tracking hazardous Waste
- Shipping
- Contingency Plan
- Training Requirements
Notes: Pricing is based on the assumption that employees have also been trained in the required Right to Know/Hazard Communication training, which covers the Contingency plan in more detail.
Title 22 requires that hazardous waste handler’s be trained on the facility Contingency Plan. However, because it is also required for all employees to be trained in the contingency plan as part of Right to Know/Hazard Communications training, CDMS does not standardly include a detailed discussion of the Contingency Plan.
CDMS can include the Contingency Plan detail for an additional fee.
To receive a certificate of completion for this training, a minimum score of 80% on the final assessment is required. You may attempt the final assessment multiple times if needed. After each attempt, you will have the opportunity to review your responses and see the correct answers, allowing you to learn from any mistakes and improve your understanding of the material.
